Correggio Pendant c.1700
£78.00Price
This detailed engraving depicts the Renaissance painter, Antonio da Correggio. The artist was famed for his tender and sensitive depictions that granted him much acclaim in areas like Parama and Correggio itself. His main influencer was Leonardo da Vinci, which makes these two round pendants a perfect pair, showing a correlation between master and student. This print came from the Palazzo Corsini in Florence. The print presumably comes from a series of engravings made that depicted famous Italian artists of the Renaissance, so it is perfect for any art historian lovers. I have framed this work to be a pendant which is perfect in any small space.
