This unique work is hold an engraving in the centre after RA artist Paul Sandby (1730-1809) depicting apastoral scene in black and white. The engraving is surrounded by an original border that has a marbleized background and pink material. Such a border would have been embellished by Victorian women as a pass time, after collecting prints and engravings, they would decorate their frames to enhance the work almost making it one of the first collages.
