This detailed print depicts a Grecian scene representing figures in several poses. The central figure is presumably Oreste, a Greek man who killed his father's new wife. The chalice at the top suggests the lower half was for the design of the model. Therefore this was a study for a final product. The print was found from the auction of the Palazzo Corsini in Florence by Sotheby’s. The work is currently unframed but please get in touch if you wish for it to be framed.
