The Giclée reprint is from our large collection of original prints from ‘Buffon’s Complete Works’. Georges-Louis Leclerc, Comte de Buffon was one of the most noted and celebrated naturalists of his time. Each of the original 1816 illustrations was printed and then hand painted in water colour in Spitalfields, London. Each quirky animal or insect is full of character and wonderful detail.
